{{tag>:modules:module conforming futuristic quarter_block tower}} [<>] ====== Miles Tower ====== **Designer:** [[designers:Jennifer Heaton]] **Designed:** July 2013 ===Designer's Notes=== At the Minnesota State Fair--about a mile from our house--we have a ride called the [[http://visitmnhistory.org/statefair/stops/3|Space Tower]]. Driving by it got me thinking about observation towers like [[http://www.spaceneedle.com/|Seattle's Space Needle]] or [[http://www.cntower.ca|Toronto's CN Tower]]. Obviously Micropolis needed one of these. When I did some research I was surprised at how many space needle buildings there are in the world. This one is a bit more futuristic than most, and you need to avoid thinking too hard about the realism of some of the structural components. But it was great fun to build and I like the way it looks in the skyline.
